CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Montgomery County Community Action Agency (CAC) is still taking applications for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).

Applications can be picked up at Community Action Agency, 150 Lafayette Road or online at www.cmccaa.com.

The program runs each year from October 1 – September 30 and funds are still available. Approved applications can receive up to $600 credit toward their propane, natural gas, or electric bill.

Applicants must show proof of all household income and social security cards for everyone in the household and have a current energy bill. Call 931-896-1800 to see if you qualify.

CAC will also have a commodity distribution June 27 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church’s Family Life Center located at 1410 Golf Club Lane. No one is permitted on the premises before 7:30 am.
