Every November 13 we celebrate World Kindness Day. On World Kindness Day, let your compassion shine brightly. Get caught showing as much kindness as possible.

In the words of Mr. Rodgers, “There is something of yourself that you leave at every meeting with another person.

Here are 5 ways you can show kindness today and participate in World Kindness Day:

1. Share a laugh.

An unexpected laugh can brighten your day. Whether it’s with, your friend, a coworker, or a stranger, it is an easy way to be kind!

2. Send un uplifting text to a friend or family member.

Just think of how much someone will smile when you send them that text and it will take less than 30 seconds. Make their day!

3. Share a compliment.

An easy way to make someone’s day. Tell them you like their outfit! Or their smile! Or their hairstyle that day!

4. Treat someone to a cup of coffee.

We’ve all had it happen! When you’re in line for your daily brew, pay for the person’s order behind you. It doesn’t have to be coffee! Anything works!

5. Let someone merge in front of you in traffic.

We all know traffic jams are the worst, but this is an easy way to make a stranger’s day!

Remember to always be kind, but especially on World Kindness Day.
