Ed Sheeran Fights for Musicians!

I was shocked when Ed Sheeran said there are over 60,000 songs put on Spotify every day!!!  What!? He was responding to a lawsuit against him for his song “Shape of You” from another musician who claimed Ed ripped off his song.  Ed said what I’ve been saying for years, there are only so many notes and chords in pop songs so there is bound to be songs that sound the same!

He won the lawsuit and said how damaging it is to songwriters and musicians.  He went on to say most just settle out of court because they don’t have the means or time to fight it.
