ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A 28-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Adams Tuesday night.

According to WKRN News 2, the crash happened just after 10 p.m. at the intersection of Kinneys Road and Port Royal Road.

Tennessee Highway Patrol told News 2 that the driver of a Chevy sedan traveled into the oncoming lane, over corrected, and left the right side of the roadway and down an embankment.

The vehicle overturned and the driver was ejected before the car hit a concrete post and landed on its roof.

THP identified the victim as Clinton Duffer of Cedar Hill.

No additional information was immediately released.
