UPDATE: Police charge Nashville man with homicide after shooting on Eagle’s View Drive

UPDATE, 6:18 p.m.: Detectives with CPD’s Special Operations Homicide Unit have charged John Bean of Nashville, Tennessee with the homicide in connection to the shooting that occurred in the 1200 block of Eagle’s View Drive on March 27 at approximately 4:00 a.m..

Officers responded to a panic alarm at the residence and found a male victim deceased inside. The male victim has been identified as 40 year old Trasbin Campbell, according to a news release from Detective Michael Patterson.

The investigation led detectives to Nashville, Tennessee where Bean was located and arrested, according to the news release. There is no further information to release at this time, but police said both victim and suspect were known to each other and that the shooting was not a random act.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Police Department is investigating two shootings incidents in North Clarksville that occurred during on Friday evening and Saturday morning.

The first shooting happened around 9:20 p.m. Friday night in the 3200 block of S Senseney Circle.

Two individuals were sitting in a car in front of a residence when they were shot, according to a news release from Clarksville Detective Michael Patterson. Both were taken to the hospital, and their conditions are unknown, the release said.

According to Clarksville Now news partner Dash 10 media, one of the victims was taken by LifeFlight to a Nashville area hospital.

A relative of the male who was transported by LifeFlight said he was awake and doing fine after receiving a total of 6 gunshot wounds to his leg, Dash 10 reports.

The second shooting occurred at 4 a.m. Saturday morning in the 1200 block of Eagle’s View Drive, and no other information is available.

Police believe the first shooting was an isolated incident, and that they have no reason to believe that the public is in any danger. It is unknown if there is a connection between the two.
