Severe storms possible Thursday night

The National Weather Service in Nashville predicts a slight risk of severe thunderstorms for the Clarksville-Montgomery County area Thursday night.

Thunderstorms are expected in the late evening, and a line of strong storms will hit Middle Tennessee around midnight. Straight-line winds and over-sized hail are possible.

The area is expected to be clear by Friday morning. Lows will be in the upper 50s.
