Teenage boy hurt, 6 rabbits rescued in house fire off Gratton Road in south Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A teenage boy was severely injured, but a half-dozen rabbits were rescued from a house fire off of Gratton Road in south Clarksville Monday afternoon.

At about 12:45 p.m., Clarksville Fire Rescue responded to a fire at 1313 Highgrove Lane, according to Assistant Fire Chief Michael Rios.

One teenage male had burn injuries and was taken by LifeFlight helicopter to a Nashville hospital.

Another teen in the house was not injured. Six rabbits were rescued from the home.
