CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A sinkhole has opened on the roadway at the College Street and First Street intersection.

College Street is completely shut down between First and Second, motorists must find an alternate route, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Officer Scott Beaubien.

At 6:50 p.m., the Clarksville Street Department was en route to evaluate the situation.
