Two men arrested in fatal College St. shooting

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Two men have been arrested in the shooting death of 20-year-old Charles Whitfield that occurred early Friday morning on College Street.

The Clarksville Police Department TACT team arrested Tequan Evans, 18, in the Timberlake subdivision shortly before midnight on Friday. He is being held in the Montgomery County Jail without bond.

Police later arrested Tremond Dinell Lenor, 19, at a home on the 900 block of Commission Dr. around 1 p.m. Saturday. He was arrested and booked on a $250,000 bond.

Both men have been charged with criminal homicide.
