Bacon, Peanut Butter and Jelly Cheeseburger – YOU IN?

We love our butter burgers and frozen custard at Culver’s.  THIS is a very different concept for a burger. At the Culver’s in Wisconsin (where they have their headquarters), someone spotted a new burger the restaurant seems to be testing out.

It’s the PBB&J Pub Burger. It’s short for “Peanut Butter, Bacon, and Jelly”. Yup this is a single patty with cheese and two strips of bacon on a pretzel bun.  Sounds delish so far. THEN just under the patty is a layer of peanut butter and a big glob of grape jelly.  Think of this as the ultimate savory and sweet.

Do you remember when Sonic had their Bacon Jam Cheeseburger? The jelly was there but the peanut butter on this Culver’s invention takes it up a notch.

We’re hoping this test makes its way to Culver’s in Clarksville. I mean – you gotta TRY it. Right? 🙂
