Check out the “Bale Trail” in Christian County!

Have you seen the interesting bales of hay around Christian County?

It began in 2020. Businesses, community partners, and residents began decorating bales of hay in support of the Christian County 4-H club, creating the Bale Trail!

According to ChristianCountyNow.com:

“Mary Anne Garnet, one of three 4-H agents in Christian County, says that this fall the designs are more detailed than ever. The trail also lets people in the city explore different parts of Christian County.

“It’s harder than it looks, it’s a lot of work and attention to detail, and it’s so much fun to be creative with the materials,” Garnet said, referencing the fish display she set up outside the extension office.”

The trail is both a contest and a fundraiser for the club with two winners, overall and social media favorite. The funds raised will help kids in Christian County have access to retreats and camps, serving about 150 kids in the area.
