Clarksville National Night Out A Fun Time Had By All!

Last night Clarksville PD put on their National Night Out down at Austin Peay University and it was an absolute blast!

As someone new to the area, I’ve really been trying to attend as many community events as possible, especially now that my family is here. So yesterday after I picked up my kids from daycare, we headed down for all the fun and boy did it deliver.

Not only did my 4 year old have a blast playing in the bounce houses, but also seeing the Clarksville PD’s armored Humvees, the bomb retrieving robot, but also their adorable K-9 officers.

I got a ton of joy seeing her having a blast, and seeing out community get together and hang out with one another. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, one of the reasons I decided to take this job in Clarksville is because I believed that this is a wonderful town to raise a family in because a lot of their events seem to be centered aroujnd families, and National Night Out is a testament to that.

So when you see a Clarksville officer (hopefully not because they’re pulling you over for your tinted windows), tell them thank you for last night and for all that they do to help keep us safe!
