Clarksville Shows its HEART in One Night

Is Clarksville perfect? Is ANY city perfect?

What Clarksville has above SO MANY other cities across the country is an incredible sense of community. You see it in the way the city supports our troops, veterans, non-profits, and start-up businesses.

What high school student Haven Madison revealed in this city is both pride and support. When she made it onto the show in the audition episodes we were beaming. The sense of family she shared by having her Dad play alongside her. It was a snapshot of what this community is truly about.

As we watched Haven perform week after week the pride swelled. She was poise, talent, quiet confidence, and humility. We couldn’t be more proud. Watch Party after Watch Party at the City Forum we saw her go on to compete week after week. By the time she reached the Top 8, she was already a bona fide star.

When she announced that she wanted to thank the city for its support with a free concert at Downtown Commons, it was pure Haven. She is grateful for every moment. She would come into the Q108 studios smiling, laughing, having fun, and as sweet as can be. She truly lights up a room.

Clarksville showed her the love back on June 12th at Downtown Commons. Attendance record broken, families and a sea of young girls wearing Haven Madison shirts came to see their local star. It was one of the most beautiful moments to witness. In a world that can seem chaotic, divided, and on edge, it was moving to stand by the stage and watch not just Haven perform, but to see such happiness and joy on the faces of every single person there, children and adults alike. On a night with the setting sun and perfect temperatures, it was the picture of what pure joy in a town looks like. It honestly felt like something straight out of a Hallmark movie set where you would watch and say “I wish there was a town that was like in real life”.

Congratulations Clarksville on showing your heart once again.

It’s no wonder more people are moving here than any other city in Tennessee.
