Clarksville’s Hiking Trails

Because sometimes you just need to get away from it all but you don’t really have the time to travel. Boy, are we in luck in Clarksville!

Have you walked the trails at Rotary Park?  There, nestled just off of Ashland City Rd., you’ll find about 100 acres of gorgeous woods with well-maintained and well-marked trails. Winding through the forest and through streams, you’ll be surrounded by pure beauty and relaxation. And all this is available at no cost. Sounds like a win-win doesn’t it?

You’ll also find gorgeous playsets for kids and the Wade Bourne Nature Center. The beautiful building is a museum and event space with a nature discovery area where children can learn about the world around us. The building was named after Clarksville Native Wade Bourne, who dedicated his life to hunting, fishing, and all things outdoors.

Whether you want to head out for some zen meditation or play with the kids or enjoy a romantic stroll through the woods, take the turn from Ashland City Rd. to Rotary Park Drive and enter a serene space close by!

You may want to also volunteer your time or help the Friends of Rotary Park. You can help with trash pickup, and trail maintenance or help promote events and activities at the park!
