Ever Try a Radler?

Craft brews are becoming more common in every city and Clarksville is no exception. To see the explosion of craft breweries here in the past ten years is evidence that we are all loving our beer!

And we’re being introduced to new types of beer we may not have tasted before.  A recent trip to the new location of TN Valley Brewing downtown (formerly in the Lowes plaza off of Wilma Rudolph Blvd), resulted in a tasting of some lighter summertime brews.

Ever hear of a “Radler”?  Seeing “Grapefruit Radler” and “Orange Radler” on the menu, I decided to include both in my flight. I was expecting either a sour or more of a “beer taste”. This is lighter. In fact, Radler is actually a Bavarian tradition of combing beer with soda. You cannot taste the beer. If you’re with someone who prefers something on the lighter or sweeter side, make sure you give the radler a try!
