HOTTEST Wings in Clarksville?

Do you like it HOT??? Like Ghost Pepper HOT?

Then you’ll be happy to know that the GHOST PEPPER crispy chicken wings are coming back to Popeye’s! Thankfully they do come with buttermilk ranch dressing to cool down the flames. LOL

If you’re anything like our family there is always one that says bring on the HEAT while another says they’ll take ZERO spice. My husband physically sweats when he has spice. Maybe because I’m always freezing, I appreciate the extra kick.

Ghost peppers are one of the hottest peppers in the world. Also known as bhut jolokia, they have a Scoville rating of over one million. This simply means that ghost peppers are significantly hotter than jalapeños and even habaneros. The heat from ghost peppers is not only intense, but it also has a unique fruity flavor that adds complexity to the wings. Ghost pepper wings are not for the faint of heart. The intense heat can cause a burning sensation in the mouth and even lead to sweating or tears.

Popeyes is also bringing something NEW. To wash down your Ghost Pepper wings, they’ll offer Mango Lemonade frozen or chilled. But don’t wait too long to check them out because they’re both available only for a limited time.

Thankfully we have 3 Popeye’s in Clarksville and 2 on Post!

Eating snow cones or snow cream can be a winter delight, if done safely

As the recent winter storm recedes, residents of lesser-affected areas might be tempted to whip up bowls of "snow cream" — snow combined with milk, sugar and vanilla — after seeing techniques demonstrated on TikTok. Others might want to try "sugar on snow," a taffy-like confection made by pouring hot maple syrup onto a plate of snow.
