Salted Watermelon Trend

It’s June! This means school is out and summer food is here!

If dipping your watermelon in pre-workout isn’t your thing, try putting salt on your watermelon.

I remember the first time someone told me to try salt on my watermelon I thought they were crazy but, I decided to give it a go and it was delicious! The salt really brings out the flavors in the watermelon so, you have a salty and sweet snack.

One of my co-workers tried the salted watermelon trend yesterday and I can say she was presently surprised.

This article states by adding salt to something sweet can make it even sweeter! The larger the flakes the better.

Does that mean we should be adding salt to our cake? Let’s test this theory!
