Should Cell Phones be BANNED at Concerts?

By now you may have seen the video of Miranda Lambert stopping her show to call out some fans taking pictures near the front of the stage. If you haven’t seen it, you can watch the video by clicking HERE.

You can see by the video that some fans were in support of the move while others felt that it was Miranda who was disrespecting the fans by calling them out (you can see some fans leaving at the end of this video).

The group of women say they had been trying to get a good picture all night but the lighting just wasn’t right. It seemed to be better during that song so they asked the woman in the row behind them if she could take a picture of the group. You can see GMA covering the story and speaking with one of those fans HERE.

Perhaps the timing wasn’t right. Miranda was singing an emotional song and it must have been more than distracting while you’re getting into the moment of the emotion of the song to see a group, not paying attention to your heartfelt performance, but trying to get that perfect shot.

You can also see the fans’ side to want to capture the moment that they were so excited for.

Again perhaps all awkwardness could have been avoided if they had waited until after the song to take the picture.

So do you think cell phones should be banned from concerts?
