Sooo is Trader Joe’s Coming to Clarksville??

When you shop at Trader Joe’s you understand what the hype is about. Items that you can’t find anywhere else. Low prices.

Clarksville has been wanting a Trader Joe’s for a long time. This is the closest we’ve heard to the idea being discussed. THIS time, it was in print.

From the “Clarksville Now” story dated August 10, 2023…

“…Todd Glover, spokesperson for VP Riverside, said that several local officials have told him the Red River district is considered a food desert, so they’ve been actively recruiting to place some type of retail grocery there. They’ve considered options such as Trader Joes and Bodega.”

Did you see it? LOL

The article was about VP Riverside getting the approval for rezoning the Vulcan property paving the way for a new entertainment district that includes a baseball stadium (yes!), retail, hotel, apartments, green space, and more.

More meaning a grocery store? Like the one that sells incredible almond croissants, chimichurri sauce, everything bagel spread, dark chocolate sunflower seed butter cups, dark chocolate almond butter cups, greek chickpeas in a can with parsley and cumin, creamy spinach artichoke dip, unexpected cheddar, Mandarin Orange Chicken, roasted garlic and pesto pizza with deep-fried crust, cauliflower or spinach gnocchi, cookie butter, Green Goddess seasoning blend, teeny tiny avocados, cashew yogurt, crispy crunchy mochi rice nuggets, crunchy chili onion….

Please. We need these items in Clarksville.
