Tips and Tricks When Packing for Your Next Getaway

You just got back from spring break and are already thinking about your next vacation! Did you figure out any travel hacks for your next getaway?
Travel attendants weigh in on some useful tips and tricks when packing for your next trip.
  1. Make a list of all the things you need so, if you must run to the store, you have those storage containers for all your toiletries!
  2. Roll your clothes! Don’t fold them. Rolling your clothes allows you to pack things more tight and not leave any gaps.
  3. Bring a water bottle. Not only is it better for the environment but, it will help you save some cash for your trip.
  4. If you’re like me you wear your heaviest items and multiple layers on the plane so, you have more room in your suitcase. Just remember to wear these items when you travel back.
  5. Last but not least SAVE EXTRA ROOM in your suitcase for all the knick knacks you’ll buy on your trip. Shoot for 39 pounds or less so you’re not over the 40 pound limit on your way back. If you don’t have a luggage scale just lying around at home, you can use a regular scale but, make sure to stand on the scale holding your suitcase and subtracting your weight for a balanced weight.
